Set up Meta official
Connect your WhatsApp Business through Meta and start sending invitations in a stable, professional way. We guide you step by step so you don't get lost along the way.
Before you start
Have your business portfolio ready in Meta for Business — it's where Meta groups your business, pages, and WhatsApp account.
Also have your WhatsApp Business account ready on your mobile device.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp Integration
In your event panel, go to Manage Guests or select Guests from the side panel. There you'll find the Automatic WhatsApp sending button.
You'll see two options: WhatsApp Personal and WhatsApp Business — select the second one.
If you're a collaborator, remember that the event owner must complete this setup.
Step 2: Connect with Facebook
Click Connect My WhatsApp Business and sign in with the Facebook account that manages your business on Meta.
From here Meta opens its own setup flow outside Invitio. That's normal — the sub-steps 1 through 8 below guide you through each screen you'll see there.
Sub-steps in Meta
These screens appear inside Meta's portal. Follow them in order and when you're done, return to Invitio.
Connect with Invitio
You'll see the Connect your account easily with Invitio screen. Click Continue to proceed.
Select your business portfolio
Choose your business portfolio. If you don't have one yet, see the link in the Before you start section.
Below, select the option to connect an existing WhatsApp Business app.
Enter your number
Enter the number you'll use for sending — it must be the same one registered on your WhatsApp Business account. Make sure to include the country code.
This number will be used to send your invitations, but don't worry: besides integrating with Invitio, you can keep using WhatsApp Business normally.
Connect your WhatsApp Business account
Meta will link the WhatsApp Business account for that number. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Scan the QR code
Open WhatsApp Business on your phone, go to Linked devices, and scan the QR code on screen.
Confirm your account
Check that the account name is correct and confirm to continue.
Confirm access
Meta will ask you to authorize Invitio to send messages on your behalf. Review the permissions and accept to continue.
Done in Meta!
Meta will confirm that your WhatsApp Business account is connected. You can close this flow and return to Invitio.
Step 3: Return to Invitio
When you close Meta's flow, you'll return to Invitio and see that your WhatsApp Business is linked.
From there you can review your templates and use Send invitations to start reaching your guests on WhatsApp.
