Collaborator permissions
When you invite someone to help with your event, you choose exactly what they can see and do, section by section. Keep the budget private, let your client preview the invitation without editing it, or give your assistant full guest-list access while vendors only see the floor plan.
What are collaborator permissions?
Collaborator permissions let the event owner control access to each part of the event panel. Not everyone on your team needs the same level of access, whether you're a couple planning your own celebration or a planner running several events at once.
If you're organizing your own event: your wedding planner may need to edit the guest list and floor plan, but you might prefer to keep the budget to yourselves. A family member might only need to see the invitation and RSVP confirmations, without changing anything.
If you're an event planner: you likely juggle assistants, vendors, and clients on every event. You might want your assistant to manage guests and the agenda, give the florist view-only access to the floor plan, and let the couple preview the invitation without accidentally changing the design.
You stay in control: share what each person needs, and nothing more.
Roles and permissions: how they work together
Every collaborator has a role: Administrator, Editor, or Reader. The role sets a starting point and a ceiling. For example, a Reader can never get edit or delete permissions, no matter how you customize.
On top of the role, you can toggle permissions for each event section: View, Create, Edit, and Delete (where it applies). When you change the role, suggested permissions reset; you can then adjust them section by section.
The event Owner always has full access. Administrators have all permissions enabled and they cannot be changed individually.
What can you control?
Each section of the event panel maps to a permission: Invitation, Guests, Tables, Budget, Agenda, Digital Album, Guest Book, Floor Plan, WhatsApp, WhatsApp Templates, Event Configuration, and Collaborators.
If someone doesn't have View access to a section, it won't appear in their side menu and they can't open it via URL either.
Within a section they can access, Create, Edit, and Delete control whether they can add items, change them, or remove them, independently of each other.
