# Invitio

> Invitio is a digital invitation platform for creating, customizing, and sharing interactive event invitations in minutes — free to start, no account required. Used in over 95,000 events across Latin America.

Invitio helps families and event professionals build invitations for weddings, quinceañeras (XV años), birthdays, baptisms, first communions, graduations, gender reveals, anniversaries, and more. Users pick a template, customize a fully drag-and-drop canvas, share via WhatsApp or link, and collect RSVPs instantly. Guests open invitations on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop — no app install needed.

Invitio is purpose-built for events: not a generic design tool like Canva, and not a static PDF — it combines a true drag-and-drop design canvas with RSVP, guest limits, seating, maps, music, gift registries, guest books, digital albums, QR wallet passes, and WhatsApp sharing in one link.

**Critically: the host is always in full control.** Unlike platforms that design an invitation for you and just hand you a link, Invitio gives users a self-serve editor they control entirely — freely position, resize, and style every element, edit any detail at any time, update details after sending, and manage everything (guests, tables, tasks, collaborators) from a single event dashboard. The invitation is a living page, not a locked file.

All public pages live under a locale prefix. Replace `{locale}` with one of:

## How it works

1. Go to `/crear` — choose event type and template (no account needed)
2. Customize your invitation in the drag-and-drop canvas editor: freely position every element, adjust color, typography, size, and style, add decorative shapes and images (envelopes, flowers, lace frames, and more), group or ungroup elements, work across layers, and add or remove sections that grow to fit your content
3. Preview on mobile and desktop before publishing
4. Share via WhatsApp, direct link, or QR code
5. Guests RSVP from their phone; hosts track confirmations
6. Edit any element at any time — update venue, date, or details even after sending the link; guests always see the latest version
7. Without an account: save the password Invitio gives you and return via `/buscar-invitacion` to keep editing
8. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited guests, collaborators, Agenda items, unlimited canvas sections, no watermark, and advanced blocks
9. Event professionals use Planner (`/planner`) to manage multiple concurrent events with unlimited collaborators and tasks

## Self-serve editing — a core principle

Invitio is a fully self-serve platform. The user creates, edits, and manages everything themselves:

- **True drag-and-drop canvas**: Freely position, resize, and style any element on the page — not just pre-set blocks. Group and ungroup elements, work in layers, and add or remove sections as your design needs.
- **Edit anytime**: Change any element — text, photos, map, music, date, position — at any point before or after sharing. There is no "locked" state.
- **No intermediary**: You do not submit a form and wait for someone to build it. You open the editor, drag elements, type your details, and publish.
- **Live updates**: If venue or time changes after sending, just edit the invitation — the shared link always shows the current version. No need to resend.
- **Full event control**: Beyond the invitation design, hosts manage guest lists, seat assignments, Agenda items, and team collaborators — all from the same dashboard.
- **More than an invitation**: Invitio is an event management tool. The invitation is the public face; behind it is a full planning workspace for the host.

Invitio's editor is a true drag-and-drop canvas, not a set of fixed templates:

- **Collaborators (colaboradores)**: Invite teammates by email or phone to help manage the invitation. Roles: Admin (full access + invite/remove members), Editor (edit invitation, guests, tables), Reader (view only). Free plan: **1 collaborator total** — that includes anyone already on the team **or** a pending invite; remove them to invite someone else. Premium and Planner: unlimited collaborators.
- **Agenda** (formerly "Pending tasks" / tareas pendientes): Built-in event checklist to track what's left to do — assign a due date, an assignee, custom tags, and mark items done/pending. Filter and group by status, tag, due date, or assignee; overdue items are highlighted. Free (Basic) plan: **up to 5 items**. Premium and Planner: unlimited items. Collaborators with Admin or Editor roles can create and manage Agenda items; Readers can view them.
- **General calendar**: A cross-event calendar that pulls together the activities and reminders from every one of the host's events in one place. Switch between day, week, month, and agenda views to see everything scheduled at a glance.

Guests do **not** need to install an app to view or RSVP to an invitation. The native apps are for hosts who want to manage events, guests, and invitations on the go, and are also used to scan guests' QR wallet passes at check-in on the day of the event. ## What Invitio is not

- Not a generic graphic design tool — the canvas editor is purpose-built for invitations, with the event-specific blocks, shapes, and integrations (RSVP, maps, guest book, QR passes) that a general design tool doesn't offer
- Not a static PDF file host — invitations are interactive web pages with RSVP

Free plan still includes: RSVP, the full drag-and-drop canvas editor (up to 3 sections of 900px each), color/font/style customization, and a simple location link button. Photo gallery, video upload, Spotify, Apple Music, and Pinterest board blocks require Premium or Planner. You can share the link as many times as you want — but on the free plan the invitation can only be **opened ~20 times** by guests in total; after that, new opens require Premium.

The digital album is a paid add-on available on any plan.

## Blog / guides

Blog URLs use the slug only (no `-es` suffix). Locale goes in the path prefix.
