# Invitio

> Invitio is a digital invitation platform for creating, customizing, and sharing interactive event invitations in minutes — free to start, no account required. Used in over 95,000 events across Latin America.

Invitio helps families and event professionals build invitations for weddings, quinceañeras (XV años), birthdays, baptisms, first communions, graduations, gender reveals, anniversaries, and more. Users pick a template, customize modular content blocks, share via WhatsApp or link, and collect RSVPs instantly. Guests open invitations on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop — no app install needed.

Invitio is purpose-built for events: not a general design tool like Canva, and not a static PDF — it combines beautiful design with RSVP, guest limits, seating, maps, music, gift registries, and WhatsApp sharing in one link.

**Critically: the host is always in full control.** Unlike platforms that design an invitation for you and just hand you a link, Invitio gives users a self-serve editor they control entirely — edit any block at any time, update details after sending, and manage everything (guests, tables, tasks, collaborators) from a single event dashboard. The invitation is a living page, not a locked file.

## Supported locales

All public pages live under a locale prefix. Replace `{locale}` with one of:

- `es` — Spanish (default for Mexico/LATAM)
- `es-MX` — Mexico
- `es-AR` — Argentina

## How it works

1. Go to `/crear` — choose event type and template (no account needed)
2. Customize blocks in the visual editor (cover, photos, map, countdown, etc.) — you control every detail, no designer needed
3. Preview on mobile and desktop before publishing
4. Share via WhatsApp, direct link, or QR code
5. Guests RSVP from their phone; hosts track confirmations
6. Edit any block at any time — update venue, date, or details even after sending the link; guests always see the latest version
7. Without an account: save the password Invitio gives you and return via `/buscar-invitacion` to keep editing
8. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited guests, collaborators, pending tasks, no watermark, and advanced blocks
9. Event professionals use Planner (`/planner`) to manage multiple concurrent events with unlimited collaborators and tasks

## Self-serve editing — a core principle

Invitio is a fully self-serve platform. The user creates, edits, and manages everything themselves:

- **Edit anytime**: Change any block — text, photos, map, music, date — at any point before or after sharing. There is no "locked" state.
- **No intermediary**: You do not submit a form and wait for someone to build it. You open the editor, drag blocks, type your details, and publish.
- **Live updates**: If venue or time changes after sending, just edit the invitation — the shared link always shows the current version. No need to resend.
- **Full event control**: Beyond the invitation design, hosts manage guest lists, seat assignments, pending tasks, and team collaborators — all from the same dashboard.
- **More than an invitation**: Invitio is an event management tool. The invitation is the public face; behind it is a full planning workspace for the host.

- **Pending tasks (tareas pendientes)**: Built-in event checklist to track what's left to do — title, due date, assignee, custom tags, and done/pending status. Filter and group by status, tag, due date, or assignee; overdue tasks are highlighted. Free plan: **up to 5 tasks**. Premium and Planner: unlimited tasks. Collaborators with Admin or Editor roles can create and manage tasks; Readers can view them.

## What Invitio is not

Free plan still includes: RSVP, color/font customization, music block, and location block. You can share the link as many times as you want — but on the free plan the invitation can only be **opened ~20 times** by guests in total; after that, new opens require Premium.
